Hablar de Thomas Clifford Arana (California, 1955) es hacerlo de uno de los actores de referencia de los Estados Unidos y el gran Hollywood. Pero Tomás Arana, como es conocido mundialmente, es mucho más que un actor de cine. Tomás es un hombre entregado, familiar, humano y con una sencillez exquisita. Un actor de cine, un hombre de Oscar. Hoy, lo demuestra una vez más en esta entrevista en exclusiva concedida para Number 1 Sport gracias a la gran labor y amistad con nuestro Productor, Enrique del Pozo. Que la disfruten.
To speak of Thomas Clifford Arana (California, 1955) is to speak of one of the leading actors in the United States and Hollywood. But Tomas Arana, as he is known worldwide, is much more than a film actor. Tomas is a dedicated, familiar, human man with exquisite simplicity. A movie actor, an Oscar man. Today, he demonstrates it once again in this exclusive interview granted to Number 1 Sport thanks to the great work and friendship with our Producer, Enrique del Pozo. Enjoy
1. Muy joven, usted estudia arte dramático en San Francisco y luego se va a trabajar en teatro al mítico Off Broadway de Nueva York. ¿Cómo recuerda esos inicios de su carrera?
1. When you were very young, you studied Dramatic Arts in San Francisco and then went to work in the theater at the mythical Off Broadway in New York. How do you remember those early days in your career?
Español : Soy de San Francisco, California y estudié actuación en el Conservatorio Americano de Teatro (ACT). Fuí ganador All Star del Fútbol Americano en mi juventud y he encontrado el teatro similar al fútbol – un grupo de gente que están juntos y trabajan muy duro por un mes o seis semanas y después actúan o juegan delante de una audiencia. La camadería de un grupo y la adrenalina son las mismas. Jugué al futbol delante de 2000 personas cuando tenia 13-14 años. Después me trasladé a New York y trabajé en algunos shows del of-Broadway, pero no era muy buen actor entonces y no me adaptaba mentalmente al stress de “ ser rechazado como actor “. Cualquier artista, especialmente actores o actrices, tiene que aprender que tal vez harás unos 100 castings con suerte antes que consigas un trabajo. No estaba preparado para aguantarlo entonces. Pero New York era muy excitante a finales de los 70′ s – Studio 54 y otras mega discotecas, Teatros, Arte, Sexo y la excitante New York, la ciudad que nunca duerme.
English: I am from San Francisco, California and studied acting at the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT). I had been an award winning all-star American football player in my youth and found theatre similar to football- a group of people get together and work hard for a month to six weeks and then perform or play in front of an audience. The comraderie of a group and the adrenaline are the same. I played footballgames in front of 2000 people when I was 13-14. I then moved to New York and did some of-Broadway shows, but I was not very good at that time and could not adapt to the mental stress of “being rejected as an actor”. Every performer, especially actors, has to learn that you might audition 100 times before someone gives you a job…I couldn’t handle that then. But New York was exciting in the late1970’s – Studio 54 and other mega discoteques, Theatre, Art, Sex, and the excitement of New York, the city that never sleeps.
2. Años después coge su maleta, viaja por Europa haciendo autostop y termina ese recorrido viviendo en Nápoles, Italia. Allí trabaja durante años en la galería de arte del galerista internacional Lucio Amelio.¿Cómo era Amelio? ¿Qué aprendió de él y del mundo del arte?
2. Years later, you pick up a suitcase, hitchhike around Europe and end up living in Naples, Italy. For years you work at the art gallery of the renowned international gallery owner Lucio Amelio. What was Amelio like? What did you learn from him and from the art world?
Español: Lucio Amelio cambió mi vida, al introducirme en el arte contemporáneo, neonapolitano, y en la cultura Italiana y Europea. Era muy brillante, hablaba 7 idiomas, de Nápoles, pero vivió en Alemania y también en Barcelona. El Mundo del Arte me enseñó a mirar todo en la vida desde perspectivas nuevas y diferentes, mirar más allá de la fachada, mantener una mente abierta y desafiar constantemente los propios pensamientos y conceptos…. Lucio descubrió y ayudó a muchos artistas, como el gran Miquel Barceló, Nino Longobardi y lo mismo con los primeras muestras en Europa de Keith Haring, David Salle, Robert Mapplethorpe y muchos más.
English: Lucio Amelio changed my life, as he exposed me to contemporary and neopolitan art, Italian and European culture. He was brilliant, spoke seven languages, was from Naples but had lived in Germany and in Barcelona also. The Art World taught me to look at everything in life from new and diferent perspectives, to look beyond the facade, to keep an open mind and constantly challenge one’s own thoughts and concepts…. He discovered or help discover many young artists, such as the great Miguel Barcelo’, Nino Longobardi and also did the first European Shows of Keith Haring, David Salle, Robert Mapplethorpe, and many others.

3. En ese periodo, trabaja con artistas como Rauschenberg, Ritcher, Gilbert & George, pero sobretodo cabe destacar que Amelio y usted traen a Nápoles a Beuys y Andy Warhol, al que incluso enseña las atracciones turísticas de la ciudad y de cuya visita conserva videos privados. Warhol le hizo fotos y un autorretrato que guarda en su colección personal. ¿Cómo fue ese viaje de Warhol? ¿Cómo era él como persona, y cómo recuerda esos días juntos?
3. During this period, you work with artists such as Rauschenberg, Ritcher, Gilbert & George, but it is especially interesting that you and Amelio bring to Naples Beuys and Andy Warhol, to whom you even show the touristic attractions of the city and from whose visit you keep private videos. Warhol did a photo shoot of you and made a self-portrait that you keep in your personal collection. How was that Warhol stay? What was he like as a person and how do you remember those days together?
Español: Lucio Amelio trajo a Andy Warhol a Nápoles para una mostra a mitad de los 70′ s y despúes otra vez el 1 de Abril de 1980, cuando expuso los cuadros de Joseph Beuys, el gran artista aleman. Andy Warhol amaba Nápoles, lo comparaba a NY y Lucio y yo lo llevamos por todo Nápoles, especialmente al viejo centro Griego, Spaccanpoli. Estuve siempre con Andy también como traductor en su viaje incluida la Conferencia de Prensa, cuando Beuys también participó y al que traducía Lucio. English: Lucio Amelio brought Andy Warhol to Naples for an exhibition in the mid1970’s and then again on April 1, 1980, when he exhibited his portraits of Joseph Beuys, the important German artist. Andy loved Naples, compared it to NY and Lucio and I took him all around Naples, especiallyto the old Greek center, Spaccanpoli. I translated all his interviews andalso for the big press conference, where Beuys also participated translated by Lucio. More than 300 journalists from all around the world came and about 3000 people showed up at the gallery opening night.The most famous American Artist with the most important European Artist—— It was an historic event…. Andy was wonderful, he loved life and the world. I remember him saying that you could always find something beautiful in everyone…maybe a person might be unattractive by normal standards, but could have beautiful eyes or a great mind. He also explained once that he preferred that 10,000 people buy a one dollar postcard of a Warhol painting instead of one person paying 10,000 dollars for a painting as that way10,000 people looked at an image of his art.

italiana cuyo director artístico era el joven, hoy importante, aclamado y premiado mundialmente director italiano de cine y teatro Mario Martone. También formaba parte de la compañía Angelo Curti, hoy director de Teatri Uniti, con quienes todavía conserva una gran amistad. 4. In Naples you work as a theater producer and leading actor with Falso Movimento, a notorious Italian company, whose artistic director was a young, today important, worldwide acclaimed and award-winning Italian movie and theater director Mario Martone. Also in the company worked Angelo Curti, today director of Teatri Uniti, with whom you still maintain a close friendship. With this company you toured festivals for nine years, from New York to London, Madrid and Barcelona. Tell me about your experience with European theater.
Español: Falso Movimento era una excitante, revolucionaria, y multi premiada compañía de teatro nacida en Nápoles. Fue muy influenciada por la Galeria de Lucio Amelio y los artistas que exhibían allí. Conocí Falso Movimento cuando actuaron en la galería. Mario Martone era el Director Artístico, y yo era un actor y también productor. Mi mano derecha era Angelo Curti. También había actores como Licia Maglietta (ganadora del Davide di Donatello, Golden Globe ), Andrea Renzi (ahora un gran actor de teatro y cine), Pasquale Mari (trabaja con el director Ferzan Ozpetek), Marco Bellocchio, Lino Fiorito (artista y director de set de Paolo Sorrentino etc.,) y Daghi Rondanini (muy premiado como director de sonido en teatro y films). Mas tarde otros actores actuaron en nuestro show como Toni Servillo, Iaia Forte, Roberto de Francesco, Vittorio Mezzogiorno… Hicimos tour alrededor del mundo durante 9 años, actuando en Madrid, Granada en La Alhambra, Valencia, Barcelona, New York, San Francisco, Londres, Jerusalem, Estocolmo , Los Angeles, Vancouver… y por toda Europa. Nuestro teatro estaba influenciado por el Cine, el Arte, la Musica, el Baile y el Teatro. En 1988 Falso Movimento se convirtió en Teatro Uniti, cuyo director artístico ahora es el gran actor internacional Toni Servillo y su productor Angelo Curti.
English: Falso Movimento was an exciting, revolutionary, multi award winning theatre company based in Naples. It was greatly influenced by the Lucio Amelio Gallery and all the artists that exhibited there. I met Falso Movimento when they performed in the gallery. Mario Martone was the Artistic Director, I was an actor and became the producer. My right hand man was Angelo Curti. actors like Licia Maglietta (winner of Davide di Donatello, Golden Globe awards), AndreaRenzi (also now a great theatre and film actor), then Pasquale Mari (Cinematographer for Ferzan Ozpetek), Marco Bellocchio, Lino Fiorito (artist and set designer for Sorrentino etc.,) and Daghi Rondanini (award winning sound designer for theatre and film). and Daghi Rondanini (award winning sound designer for theatre and film). En esos años, hace amistad y trabaja con un grupo cultural joven que nace en Nápoles con genios como el director de cine italiano Paolo Sorrentino, Oscar al mejor film extranjero por La Grande Bellezza, su protagonista el gran actor italiano Toni Servillo y el actor-director de la compañía Teatro Uniti, Angelo Curti. Hoy siguen siendo amigos. Que recuerda de esos años y cuál es su actual relación profesional con Sorrentino, Servillo y Curti.

In those years, you became friends and worked with a young cultural group that was born in Naples with extremely talented Italian film director Paolo Sorrentino, Oscar to the best foreign film for The Great Beauty, his leading man, the great Italian actor Toni Servillo, and theater director and actor of the Teatri Uniti company Angelo Curti. With all of them you still remain friends. What do you remember of those times and what is your current professional relationship with Sorrentino, Servillo and Curti.
Español: Fué Lucio Amelio y su Galeria quien influenciaron a Falso Movimento y a Toni Servillo y a otros en el mundo del Teatro en Nápoles. Nuestro éxito y duro trabajo inspiraron y creó un movimiento que se extendió al cine. Martone empezó a hacer cine, Sorrentino empezó como asistente en un film de Martone. A continuación Angelo Curti y Nicola Giuliano produjeron el primer film de Paolo Sorrentino, Uomo in Piu’, protagonizado por Andrea Renzi y Toni Servillo. Se inició un movimiento de cine en Nápoles, junto con Antonio Capuano, Pappi Corsicato, Stefano Incerti, Nina di Majo, Antonieta di Lillo, Francesco Lettieri y otros…. Ahora Nápoles es famosa por la serie de televisión Gomorra y sus productores de cine y televisión como Gabriella Buontempo, Viola Prestieri, Luciano Stella, etc. El concepto era trabajar más duro que nadie y no esperar ayuda, sino crearla nosotros mismos… y superar cualquier obstáculo que se nos presentase. También lo hicimos todo sin que nos pagaran por mucho tiempo.
English: Lucio Amelio and his gallery influenced Falso Movimento and Toni Servillo and others in the theatre world in Naples. Our success and hardwork inspired and created a movement that extended to cinema. Martone started making films. Sorrentino started as an assistant on a film by Martone. Subsequently Angelo Curti and Nicola Giuliano produced Paolo Sorrentino’s first film, Uomo in Piu’, starring Andrea Renzi & Toni Servillo. A Naples Cinema movement was started, joined by Antonio Capuano, Pappi Corsicato, Stefano Incerti, Nina di Majo, Antonietta di Lillo, Francesco Lettieri and others….Now Naples is famous for the Gomorra TV series and other film and TV producers like Gabriella Buontempo, Viola Prestieri, Luciano Stella, etc. The concept was to work harder than anyone else and to not wait for help but to create it ourselves and overcome whatever obstacle was in our way. We also did it all without getting paid for a long time.

Español: Mi primer film lo rodé en Italia.. con directoras como Lina Wertmuller, Liliana Cavani y directores como Sergio Corbucci, Carlo Verdone, Michele Soavi, etc. Hice 3 films con Marcello Mastroianni y trabajé junto a Sophia Loren, Giancarlo Giannini, Ornella Muti, Michel Piccoli, Herbert Lom… Aprendí a actuar en películas en Italia y Mastroianni y Phillipe Leroy fueron dos actores que me dieron muy buenos consejos y cómo actuar en el cine, que es muy diferente de la actuación teatral.
English: My first films were in Italy…with directors Lina Wertmuller, Liliana Cavani, Sergio Corbucci, Carlo Verdone, Michele Soavi, etc. I did three films with Marcello Mastroianni and worked with Sophia Loren, Giancarlo Giannini, Ornella Muti, Michel Piccoli, Herbert Lom,…..I learned to act for movies in Italy and Mastroianni and Phillipe Leroy were the two actors who gave me great advice and set an example for me of how to act in Cinema, which is so diferent from Theatre acting.

En Italia trabaja con dos de las más prestigiosas e internacionales directoras del cine italiano: Lina Wertmuller, que recibió el Oscar Honorífico a su carrera el año pasado y fue la primera mujer directora nominada a un Oscar, y con Liliana Cavani, célebre por su mítico film Portero de noche. ¿En qué films trabajó y con ellas, y cómo eran dirigiendo?

In Italy you work with two of the most prestigious and international female directors of the Italian cinema: Lina Wertmuller, who last year was awarded an Honorary Oscar for her career and was the first female director nominated for an Oscar, and with Liliana Cavani, well remembered for her mythical The Night Porter. In which films did you work with them and what would you say of them as directors?
Español: Amé trabajar con Lina y Liliana.. métodos muy diferentes, las dos maravillosas y un honor ser dirigido por ellas … Ambas tuvieron que lidiar, luchar por ser mujeres poderosas en una industria dominada por hombres: Italia es un país maravilloso pero una sociedad machista muy masculina. Me mostraron que derribarían esos muros y no aceptarían que les mostraran ninguna falta de respeto. English: I loved working with Lina and Liliana..very diferent methods but both wonderful people and great to be directed by them…. They both had to deal with being powerful women in a male dominated industry—Italy is awonderful country but a very male chauvinist society. They showed me that they would break down the walls and would not accept being shownany lack of respect. Italy has wonderful female directors now- Valeria Golino, Cristina Comencini, Maria Sole Tognazzi and many others.

8. You worked in two films with Sophia Loren and Ornella Muti. Loren, La Muti and Tomas Arana, a young American actor with two of the most international, beautiful and desired actresses in the world. What is it like to work with La Loren and La Muti?
Español: Sophia Loren es maravillosa, muy inteligente y muy afectiva con todo el mundo. Ciento de veces mas guapa fuera de la pantalla. Irónicamente Lucio Amelio y ella algunas veces jugaron cuando eran niños. Hice tres films con Ornella Muti, haciendo de su marido dos veces. Ella es una actriz impresionante, muy divertida y llena de vida.
English: Sophia Loren was wonderful, intelligent and very kind to me and everyone. Hundred times more beautiful of screen. Ironically she and Lucio Amelio would sometimes play together with friends as children.I did three films with Ornella Muti, playing her husband twice. She is aterrific actress and great fun, full of life.

9. You played the lead in two films with the director of horror movies and world myth Dario Argento, The Church and The Sect with his daughter Asia Argento. What is it like to work with Dario Argento and be a historical part of his millions of fans around the world?
Español: Dario Argento fué productor de dos films donde yo era protagonista dirigido por Michele Soavi. No veo films de horror porque me asustan, me dan miedo; me sucede desde niño..pero me gusta hacerlos porque, como actor, tienes que usar la imaginación y la fantasía. No hay una base de realidad cuando haces una personaje que se convierte en un demonio supernatural… También hice dos films con el gran Lamberto Bava.
English: Dario Argento produced two films I did that were directed by MicheleSoavi. I don’t watch horror films as I get scared and afraid; it started as achild…but I love making them because, as an actor, you get to use imagination and fantasy. There is no base of reality when you play a character who becomes a supernatural demon…… I also did two film with the great Lamberto Bava.

Español: Cuando era joven nunca quise ser actor, quería ser un jugador profesional de rugby…. Descubrí la actuación con 19 años. Nunca imaginé que haría 70 films y trabajaría en mas de 50 producciones de televisión, pero siempre quise tener una vida diferente de la que tuve cuando era un niño nacido en la pobreza en San Francisco. Sabia que quería tener aventuras en la vida y nunca tuve miedo de lo desconocido…. todo lo contrario. Estaba emocionado por no saber lo que me depararía el futuro…..
English: As a young boy I never wanted to be an actor, I wanted to play professional football…. I discovered acting at 19 years old. I never imagined that I would do more than 70 films and more than 50 Television productions but I always wanted to have a diferent life and journey than what I had as a child, growing up poor in San Francisco. I knew I wanted to have adventures in life and I never had any fear of the unknown…..on the contrary, I was excited by not knowing what the future holds…..

11. Ha trabajado con actores legendarios como Richard Harris, Sean Connery, Max Von Sydow, OliverReed o Derek Jacobi. ¿Cómo fue ese intercambio con diferentes generaciones de actores?
11. You have worked with legendary actors like Richard Harris, Sean Connery, Max Von Sydow, Oliver Reed or Derek Jacobi. What was it like, that exchange with different generations of actors?
Español: Trabajar con actores de más edad, comenzando con Mastroianni, fue educativo…. a menudo aprendí simplemente observándoles, pero también escuché con entusiasmo su sabiduría o consejos sobre técnicas de cine. También escuchando varias historias cenando o en el set de una película con David Hemmings y Richard Harris o Mastroianni – simplemente maravilloso e inspirador parte de la gran tradición de maestros artesanos que enseñan a jóvenes aprendices. English: Working with older actors, starting with Mastroianni, was educational… quite often I learned just by observing them but also eagerly listened to their wisdom or tips on film technique. Also listening to various stories at dinner or on a film set by David Hemmings and Richard Harris or Mastroianni just wonderful and inspirational part of the great tradition of master craftsmen teaching younger apprentices. I try to help younger actors in the same tradition. Sean Connery was fantastic to watch. He also patted my oldest son, Yanez, on his head as a two year old and said: “sweet boy”. He was “blessed” by Sean Connery.

12. In 1992 you worked in The Bodyguard. A worldwide success with Kevin Costner and the exceptional singer Whitney Houston. What memories do you have of the shooting of the film and of Houston?
Español: El Guardaespaldas fue divertido, aunque en Miami durante la última semana de filmación casime muero, porque tuve un ataque de apendicitis con 5 peritonitis, gangrena y abscesos. Estábamos filmando la escena de la fiesta en el Hotel Fountainbleu, donde aparezco por primera vez en la película. Si miras mis primeros planos, puedes ver que estoy sudando … mi apéndice estalla en ese momento. Pasé 10 días en el hospital. Whitney fue maravillosa; tan inteligente, dulce, amable y muy consciente que no era actriz de cine. Siguió disculpándose, diciendo que no sabía lo que estaba haciendo como actriz… ¡ pero el poder de las estrellas es el poder de las estrellas ! Como muchas personas, estuve devastado cuando ella murió. Kevin Costner, quien es genial, muy divertido y muy sensato, dió un elogio muy conmovedor en su funeral. English: The Bodyguard was fun, although in Miami during the last week of filming I almost died making it as I had an appendicitis attack with 5 peritonitis, gangrene and abcesses . We were filming the party scene in the Hotel Fountainbleu, where I appear for the first time in the movie. If you look at my close ups, you can see that I am sweating…..my appendix is bursting in that moment. I spent 10 days in the hospital. Whitney was wonderful; so intelligent, sweet, kind and very aware that she was not a film actress. She kept apologizing, saying she didn’t know what she was doing as an actress….but star power is star power! Like many people, I was devastated when she died. Kevin Costner, who is great, very fun and very down to earth, gave a very moving eulogy at her funeral. It was heartfelt and very powerful … I really never expected the film to be such an enormous box office hit.

English; GLADIATOR. All roads lead to Rome and to Gladiator. We started filming with only about 20 pages of script and we filmed in chronological order, which is never done in film… we did that based on locations and the fact the script was being re-written as we filmed, unheard of for most films, especially $105 million dollar budget movies. On the first day, seeing the fantastic Arthur Max set, the Janty Yates costumes and super cool Russell, I said to some people there that we were going to win the Oscar for Best Picture. A few days later, Ridley came to Russell and I saying that Spielberg and the other Dreamworks people (Dreamworks and Universal were the studios on film) had seen the first day’s filmed scenes and said we were the coolest Roman Soldiers ever in a movie. Ridley Scott is brilliant, we shot with 5 to 13 cameras each day and he is a master of cinema. Like all great directors I have worked with, including Scorsese and others, he knows what he wants but will listen to any good ideas and put them in the film if he likes them. That gives you as an actor a great desire to be creative and try to enrich your role in a positive way, to help the film be better. Confident, secure directors are like that, they have an open mind and are not afraid of diferent ideas…Insecure directors are afraid of suggestions and become defensive.

English: I’ve known Willem Dafoe since he was performing with his great NewYork theatre company, The Wooster Group. We performed in many of the same international festivals. When I was co-founder and first artistic director of the Festival Milano Oltre, I invited their group to Italy for their first performances in Italy. We became friends and then he played Jesus in Last Temptation of Christ by Martin Scorsese. I played Lazarus and he resurrected me from the dead. We’ve stayed good friends since.It wouldbe wonderful to do another film together or a theatre project if is possible…. He is so busy!! It is interesting that two of my most famousfriends who are actors are Willem and Toni Servillo. Both come from the same world of Avant-Garde Theatre that I do and both use all their experience of that world and bring it into film acting. One reason they are both so great as film actors.

English: Enrique del Pozo…what can I say? He is a special human being, besides being a singer, actor and director, he is also everything that one could want as a friend. He is kind, intelligent and has a great sense of humor and is loyal to his friends. Arana is a very famous Basque name. I am mixed blood like most Americans, but I know I have a strong Basque sense of loyalty to my friends and I remember special people and try to keep in touch and maintain friendships. It is hard, as we in the performing arts are all gypsies, traveling and working (if we are lucky) so Enrique is one of those gypsy brother friends that I am honored and happy to have as my friend.

English: Almodovar’s cinema absolutely blew my mind when I first saw his films. I think he came to see us when we did Otello by Falso Movimento in Madrid in the mid 1980’s. His style, humor and the fin line he does between black humor, tragedy and humanity touches me like few filmmakers do. English: I loved Seville, unfortunately I was only there less than a week and worked everyday and didn’t get a chance to see all the historical sites etc. I hope very much to return. Me gusta el Real Madrid y el Barcelona, que estoy seguro que hace enojar a los españoles, pero me gustan los dos equipos. A nivel internacional, apoyo a EE.UU, Italia, Brasil y España. También amo el fútbol femenino y amo al equipo de EE.UU que ha ganado tantos mundiales y amo al equipo de mujeres brasileñas con su gran jugadora Marta.

También sigo el equiop de Milan que esponsoriza Armani y me han encantado los jugadores europeos de la NBA , los dos hermanos Gasol , Ricky Rubio, Luka Doncic, Danillo Gallinari and Marco Belinelli, Manu Ginobili, Sabonis, etc.

27. ¿Practica o es aficionado a algún deporte en especial?
27. Do you practice sports, or are you a fan of any particular one?
Español: Me encanta el fútbol americano, luego el béisbol, el baloncesto y el fútbol … Si sigo todos los deportes, pero esos son mis favoritos… Miro deportes constantemente … para mí muestra toda la humanidad, el trabajo duro y la disciplina de los atletas y el deseo de ser el mejor, similar a la actuación. Siempre jugué deportes, pero ahora solo me apego a los ejercicios de artes marciales ( he estudiado durante años Aikido, espada japonesa y judo), junto con ejercicios de yoga y danza. Me encanta bailar… Tal vez fui bailarín de flamenco en una vida pasada. ….Yo espero que sí.
English: I love American Football, then baseball then basketball then soccer…. I follow all sports but those are my favorites.. I watch sports constantly…to me it shows all of humanity, the hard work and discipline of athletes and the desire to be the best, similar to acting. I always played sports, but now just stick to martial arts exercises (I have studied for years Aikido, Japanese sword and Judo), along with yoga and dance exercises- I love to dance……. Maybe I was a flamenco dancer in a past life. I hope so….
